2011 is the European Year of Volunteering. Therefore, the European Committee and the Polish Ministry of Labour and Social Policy organize a two-week celebration of volunteering in Poland. Volunteers for Sport will participate in the event, too.

Official cooperation between Volunteers for Sport and two international organizations commenced in August this year. The main objectives of the agreements include development of volunteering and facilitating the enrollment of persons ready to help.

Apart from promoting volunteering, Volunteers for Sport undertakes implementation of various social projects. One of them is RESPECT Your Health Euroschools 2012. The project is managed by Street Football World, whereas our Foundation implements it in Poland. Training session for CLO in Warsaw was one of the first elements of the implementation.

Ajax Summer Talent Camp, an exceptional football camp, took place at the beginning of last month. Young Polish sportsmen trained under the tutelage of academic experts of Ajax Amsterdam, one of the most renowned football teams in the world. Aside from sports activities, participants of the camp were able to attend workshops prepared by Volunteers for Sport.

The essential change in the location of the Foundation premises took place at the beginning of the holidays. There will be no more strenuous escapades to Usypiskowa street in Warszawska Ochota [one of Warsaw's districts]. The registered office is now situated in the precise city centre at 8 Szpitalna street, between Chmielna street and Plac Powstancow Warszawy.
